Quran is the very word of God revealed through the Archangel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over 1400 years ago as his divine miracle. It has remained unchanged and fully preserved in the original language since its revelation. Quran provides a complete code and guidance for mankind to live a good, chaste, abundant and rewarding life in obedience to the commandments of Allah preparing them for the hereafter.

Yes, despite some other religions which were limited to a certain region or ethnicity or solely addressed followers of a specific religion existed prior to them, in Islam, anyone can become a Muslim regardless of their color, nationality or language. Islam is a religion for the whole humanity and aims to unite all the people together.

If you have gained strong belief that Islam is the true religion of God and have real desire to become a Muslim, then you must sincerely pronounce ‘Shahaadatain’ (the testimony of faith), i.e. “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadun rasool Allah”; This saying means “There is no true god except Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) is the Messenger (Prophet) of God”.

The Islamic axioms consist of five pillars: Monotheism or Tawhid (the belief in the oneness of Allah), Prophethood or Nubuwwah (Knowing that Allah has sent prophets and messengers to all of human civilization since our creation to show us the right way), Afterlife or Ma’ad (belief in the Day of Judgment and preparing for it), Justice or Adalah (acknowledging that Allah is THE MOST JUST and would never punish anyone unless they deserve it) and Leadership or Imamate (knowing that Allah designated 12 holy Imams to succeed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and carry on his message and tradition after his death).

Islam is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion which was revealed to human beings by the last Prophet -Muhammad (PBUH) - about 1400 years ago. The word ‘Islam’ means ‘surrender’ or ‘submission’ to the will of God. It comes from the root word ‘Salam’ meaning peace. As the fastest-growing and second largest religion in the world, Islam teaches that it is through the doing of good deeds and seeking the pleasure of God that souls find true happiness and peace.
